I am looking into redesigning my site based around an API. I think I understand correctly that you can send information to the main API page using "file_get_contents" and receiving the information as JSON. If I want to login to my site how would I do this with a form? Would I have the form POST the data to a "script" page which then sends the data using "file_get_contents"? Or is this completely wrong? you can only send GET data via file_get_contents , if you want to send data via POST method you can use ...

I created a form (http://www.mysite.com/form.php) that takes in the username and password from the login page and if the credentials are ok, it lets them through - pretty standard stuff. http://www.othersite.com/test.php is a page that uses curl to send a hardcoded username / password combo. Right now there is a problem - I'd like to actually navigate over to http://www.mysite.com/form.php from othersite.com after sending the info over, instead of opening the results in othersite.com/test.php Is there a ...

I'm trying to get the html of a page, using either file() or fsockopen() but the page redirects to the login page in you're not logged in. I'm guessing you can send POST VARS to the form on that page and pass it thru? Either using the fsocketopen() function or even cURL? Any help/comments would be great, Cheers I recommend that you do some research into how the site logs the user in. If it requires a secure connection or sets session cookies then I would recommend that you use cUrl as it handles all this ...

Hello guys, I am currently developing a really small application for a small local company. Since this app contains sensible business information (and is really useless to an outsider), I can't distribute it via the App Store. I have looked into creating an account for the IOS Developer Enterprise Program. However, the required steps (paying 300$/year, registering a DUNS-number etc.) seem to be a bit of an overkill, since I already have a normal iOS developer program account. So my question is: Is there a ...
