Hi, I have a Droid Eris, and I haven't really set it up for email yet. I don't need it too badly, as I use my computer for email, but it might be nice on occassion. - I'm wondering if some folks can lend some advice on the best way to have a good working email setup between your phone and your computer, if you don't have IMAP as an option, and don't really use Gmail? I use Earthlink for my main email addresses, and I don't believe they support IMAP, so that's not really an option for me. So I guess my main ...

Hi everyone, I am trying to create an automate script to extract excel data to outlook and send out. I have a large excel database with contacts and names of my suppliers and friends. I would like to extract these datas (name, and e-mail address) to outlook and send them a xmas greetings. I would like to design it in a way that it will be able to compose the mail with the following format: Dear xxxx(name from excel): Merry Xmas! That way, every mail is sent with the email address with the respective ...

Hallelujah! For Android version 2.2 or newer, we no longer need 3rd party software or an Exchange Server to synchronize contacts and/or calendar items with Microsoft Outlook or Windows Live Mail programs (which I'll collectively refer to here as "Outlook"). Hotmail, MSN Mail, Microsoft Live Mail, & Outlook.com (which collectively I'll refer to as "Hotmail") now enable synchronization between Outlook and Android's standard, built-in apps for contacts (a.k.a. "people"), calendar, and email through Android's ...

I recently had a bad experience with one of the major webhosts that I wont name here, but yea...... Anyway, what I'm left with is a database of roughly 1200 of my 2500+ user website that was completely destroyed by said webhost. So what I'm looking to do, is extract the email addresses from this database backup that I have. Atleast, I think its a database backup. I'm not a very good web designer and usually contracted out all of the work related to the website. The files that I have basically look like ...

I am running XP/Pro and Office 2003. Had to install a new drive and re-install applications. Outlook 2003 files were saved and thru the re-install/import process now have two files. Outlook1.pst and Outlook2.pst and thus two personal folders under Outlook 2003. Also have Contacts and Contacts in personal folders. However, when I try to send e-mail I can’t access the contacts. What I need to do is the following: 1. Merge Outlook1 (5GB) and Outlook 2 (3GB) into one file and remove duplicates. 2. Have ...

I'm new to Android -- buying the Incredible on Monday. Sorry for the noob quetions: 1. Can anyone comment on the relative differences (or strengths/weaknesses) between using "HTC Sync" versus "Companionlink" -- for bi-directional syncing between Outlook 2007 on a PC -- and Android 2.1? 2. I don't use GMail and I plan to use using a POP3 profile to access my webmail account. Will using either "HTC Sync" or "Companionlink" to sync my contacts -- allow me full access to the multiple email addresses I have ...

Hi! I have a folder on outlook express with almost 10,000 messages. I want it off my computer, but I don't want to simply delete it. I'd like to burn it so I can access the messages in future if I want to. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Thanks! Smile Try burning the inbox.dbx file and sent items.dbx Alkatr0z is correct about the import/ export limitations of OE. It's probably due to the fact that OE is deeply embedded in Windows. I would try to open the emails on another machine running OE as a test ...

All, I was hoping that there are other “business users” out there which use Android phones to manage Outlook Contacts and Calendars and can advise me. I have been unable to find how to synchronize my Outlook Contacts and Calendars (not Email) with my new Droid Bionic. I do not have a Gmail account – nor do I want one. I don’t want to synchronize Outlook with Gmail to then synchronize Gmail with my phone. I just purchased the Android Bionic from Motorola and have found “some” products such as ...
