Hey all, Does K9 actually push email? I have my work account set up to it. It's not an Exchange account, but I put in the IMAP server and all. It polls fine, but I would actually like this app more if it can push email. Thanks! If you don't mind me asking, what are you settings? These are the relevant ones that I can think of.. and here is what mine are set to: Refresh IDLE Connection: 24 minutes Background sync: Always Folder Poll Frequency: OFF (I'm going to turn this off, previously, it was set to check ...

My mom just upgraded her Droid Global to a Galaxy Nexus. On both phones, she had the Verizon rep add her Comcast account to the stock Email app before leaving the store. However, her Comcast contacts aren't showing up this time -- it doesn't auto-complete when she starts typing in someone's email address. How can this be fixed? Is there something the rep must have missed this time? Quote: Originally Posted by Droidood My mom just upgraded her Droid Global to a Galaxy Nexus. On both phones, she had the ...

Hi Folks, I am a newbie to the droid. I have been lurking here for about a month before I bought it, so I am in fairly good shape with it other than one iritiation. I am coming from three years of Blackberry (8800, 9000) use. My iritation is with my POP/Comcast email. On my BB I could delete a message and it would delete it from the server without any issue. It also would stay on my BB after I downloaded the email from the server to my PC. With my droid I lose the message once I download it to my PC. Is ...

Hi! I am using the Email program that came with the MyTouch phone. I set it up to Comcast email address I have. When an email arrives, the Email app takes many hours, sometimes days, to let me know about the email message. Also, it frequently gives me multiple notices about the same message. What to do, what to do... Moving to MT3G forum as you may get better responses Might be a bit of a hassle to setup, but you could try forwarding all your Comcast email to a Gmail account and then sync that Gmail ...

After reading an email on my phone (comcast), my computer still marks it as unread. Anyone know how to mark as read on the server from the phone? Not possible if using POP3. If using IMAP it will show as read after reading or you can remark it as unread on the phone and it will show as unread on the PC. Linux user #266351. Android since v1.0 Comcast uses POP3. I found this, I'm scarred to touch it though https://xcbetasignup.comcast.net/imap_trial/web/ No IMAP option? Really? Linux user #266351. Android ...

Hey ho, A friend of mine is hosting some projects of mine for free - but he doesn't have an smtp server set up because some people he'd give free hosting to would abuse it (and he had no means to trace the folder sent from). So basically, I'm looking for a public relay server. Usually, public ones are on a lot of blocklists because they are abused by spammers. The ones that aren't free cost approximately $5 a month which is more expensive than a full decent hosting package. I'm wondering if anybody knows ...

I created a web page for clients at the beginning of the summer. These clients use Macs. There were times when alignment was different (I work on a PC), but that got adjusted. Now, there is a problem with a link to email. Would you please let me know why the code works on my PC and not on their Macs? Here is the "problem" page: http://www.certifiedcelebrants.com/pages/contactus.htm The problem is the link underneath each picture that shows each person's email address. On my PC, when I click on ithe email ...
