I use my phone as a GPS a lot of times and recently have been looking for a new house. When we are going to go and look at houses I put all the addresses Google Maps on my PC and star them so they end up in My Places. They all show on the map on my phone, but when I go into My Places if there are multiple addresses in the same city it groups them all together. For instance, there are 2 addresses in Eureka, Mo and 3 in Grover, MO. I can get around it by looking at them on a map and then touching each star ...

Any help would be great thanks phil Please specify the nav app. Google Maps Nav is the most ...

Hi, I was wondering how one would do this. I've seen it on many web sites - an image with different clickable parts that act like links. Is this just one image or actually numerous images? Thanks in advance. Regards, Phil It could be either. One way could use a sliced up image in table/div layout with parts being used as links instead of backgrounds. Another way, which is probably what you were asking about is a long forgoton technique called image maps me no likey. others may. Heres a link, its from 95 so ...

For a while now my location has not been updating. For instance on my weather app, it keeps me at my home location no matter where I go. And usually when I get into my phone I get a quick message saying that it failed to update my location but offers no reason or solution. Hopefully someone here can help me, thanks Quote: Originally Posted by nate39 For a while now my location has not been updating. Hi I've just read an article "Googles PageRank Explained" by Phil Craven. My site has 300+ pages but is a "skin" with all pages generated dynamically. I aso use a java popup menu for navigation. I am aware that spiders cannot crawl such a site so I have made a Site Map with spider friendly links and have included such links elsewhere in the site. Google currently has approx 350 of my pages indexed. This may be a stupid question, please remember that I am completely new to all this! If I wanted to maximise ...

What about Phil Craven's theory? http://www.webworkshop.net/florida-update.html No matter what you think of his HillTop and expert system theories, this guy is 3° for "pagerank" (right after Google) and 1° for "Florida Update" (among others) so he's authority. Julian Yanover. another basic theory close to all the others just re written.. and those keywords arent exactly the hardest in the world...the "florida update" keyword could be a bit edgey at first, but both are very obtainable ;) Originally posted ...

Hi all, I have a question in how google sees urls and their structure. If I have this structure for my product: 1. www.example-domain.com 2. www.example-domain.com/country.html 3. www.example-domain.com/country/state.html 4. www.example-domain.com/state-region.html 5. www.example-domain.com/state/city.html 6. www.example-domain.com/city/product_id.html 1-5 have been indexed BUT the last one (6) has not. We cannot figure out why Google will not go into that last url? Some of these pages have been in our ...

Hi all, I have read that google will penalize you if you have more than 100 internal links/urls (not leaving your site) on one page? is this true? I have currently 111 links on my index page that 95% go to internal pages within my site..Could this be a problem? Is there a standard number that one shouldnt go above ? Many Thanks Phil I use 50 or less as a rule of thumb. I use to have a TON more but my users were a little overwhemled I think. As far as I know Google does not penalize for number of internal ...
