Is Google penalizing Exact Match Domains? I have a sinking feeling that it is. My site: "http://toyota-hilux-vigo.com" is doing well on all searches related to 4x4 vehicles EXCEPT searches on Toyota Hilux Vigo. Any search string that has thv in the list is suffering. The site is on number 1 slot on "Toyota Vigo" and "Toyota Vigo thailand" but as soon as I begin searching for "Toyota Hilux Vigo" or "Toyota Hilux Vigo thailand" down I go, the highest I got was number 7 and now I'm gradually slipping to the ...

I have a php application (a car review system) that allows people to submit reviews of cars. I have implemented mod_rewrite so the URL's are static and use the review's title as the filename and ending in the primary key. Example: (User submits review for Toyota Camry) http://www.car-reviews.com/opinions/toyota-camry-176.php I would like the URL's to be as optimized as possible for Google, but am afraid I will have tens or hundreds of URL's for all the popular cars, and because there will be multiple ...

Without category is better Quote: Originally Posted by oliviacis domain.com/category/product.html is giving a 404 error. Coming to your question, the second url i.e. domain.com/product.html would be easier to promote as per google. This is because a site's URL structure should be as simple as possible. Talking about user point of view, then every site does provide breadcrumb ...

What do you see? I see a lot of crap from all over the world... NZ, AU, UK, JP... Something's afoot, I tell you. searching for "Toyota" gives exactly the result I would expect to get. Looks normal to me too. If you only want results from the US, you can do it like so: http://www.google.com/search?q=toyota&meta=cr%3DcountryUS Hmm... My point is not whether or not it looks "normal" to you, unless you happen to watch this term closely. My point, dear friends, is that prior to today the official Toyota sites ...

One of my site (http://thailand-dealer.com) was put on life support after a brutal mugging by a Panda and a Penguin. On suggestion by some experts on SEO forum I decided to cut my losses and start fresh and here is the result: http://toyota-hilux-vigo.com. Since I'm starting from scratch I want to avoid the same mistakes that got me into trouble the first time so frank assessment will be very welcome. It is doing well on some of its important searches like Toyota Hilux Vigo, Vigo Thailand, Vigo Single Cab, ...
