http://engr.georgefox.edu/faculty/Bob_Harder/ Can anybody tell me how I can make my footer position itself according to the navigation panel so that the footer will always be low enough? Here's my CSS: <html> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" rel='nofollow' href="http://engr.georgefox.edu/template/layout.css"> <head> <title>Engineering Homepage - Faculty</title> </head> <body> <?php require('/var/www/html/template/loader.html'); ?> <!-- start center column --> <div id="ctr"> <?php echo "Some title"; ...

This is another issue I am facing at the moment. I am developing a site for a class project with a scrollable div on each page. On one of the pages the stuff in the content div ( <div id="content"> ) is extra long. I was wondering if there was a way to print just the div. This is an offshoot of the iframe problem i was facing earlier, but iframes are not allowed in XHTML. hence I'm using the div. If it makes any difference, I am not using the z-index property in the style sheet for the content div. Thanks ...

Can anybody tell me how to workaround the problem where if i align images right they don't show up in IE? Thanks. Good morning. Off to work in a bit but will respond first. Quote: Your two code samples still resulted in the same problem Shouldn't have. Not at all. Quote: Using any form of align="right" or style="float: right;" or any other forms of picture alignment result in the picture showing up as a big white space in IE. Works fine for me in IE 6. What version of IE are you using? Here's what I did to ...

This has got me a bit stumped. Here is the page: http://www.coe.ecu.edu/lsit/colaric/FORC/ Here is what I can figure out. 1. When I go to the page and click on a link it works fine. If I click on another link it opens up a new window, anytime links are clicked on in the new window everything runs great. 2. It only opens up a new window when trying to access pages in the FORC folder. It will not open up a new window when going to the ecu homepage or coe homepage. (this implys it is something with the coding ...

Hey everyone, I'm new here and hope you guys can help me out. I'm designing a site for a department here on campus and need to put an image for the background of 1 page, but the page uses css and stuff also. I cannot get the picture to show up on the net or in preview in frontpage, but it shows up in the design view as if it's going to be there. I cannot just change the image in the css because I don't want it to be that way on every page at least for the "mainpanel" part. But even when I do add it to the ...

Hello I saw a posting a few lines down about images and noticed it said the post was from 2006. I received this list from a friend of mine a few days ago. It is a list of websites of images and royalty free images for commercial use. So I compared both lists and seems most of these sites my friend gave me weren't on that 2006 list. So anyways I figured if it helps someone out cool- I don't want to be held accountable if some of it is bad lol. I am just trying to help out with this list I received. ...
