I recommended to my client to leave your default home page as : http://www.xyz.com but currently this is redirected to https://www.xyz.com/login.asp. This is the what my client says: The default page for the site is Login.asp. The redirect is to ensure that all users access the site over SSL. When you go to http://www.xyz.com, you are redirected to https://www.xyz.com/login.asp. I’m not sure I understand why this is an issue. BTW – the redirect occurs as follows: Index.html redirects to default.html ...

Hi, I have a web form secured using https on a classic .asp page (vbscript). Example https://domainname.com/content/form.asp If people decide not to fill out the form, and decide to click on one of the menu links on the page, the links all start with "https", which I don't want. How can I get around this? I had no luck finding an answer on Google. Thanks in advance. J Instead of using relative links use absolute links. In other words, instead of just typing "/contact.php", type ...

Hi I have never touched a database in my life except when a package installs it. However i have a client who needs forms emailing to him, but we want a secure server, maybe a database link? Is there any known package that does this and works with SSL? They are all different things: SSL - this will require the purchase of a certificate (or the use of a shared one from your webhosts) Using SSL to mail the form will just require you to write a form handler - but use https://www.yourdomain.com/formahndle.php ...

Greetings. I need some help with a site function at www.intracatsystems.com . On the left of the page is an area for a "Digital One" client to sign in. The actual sign in for the product is on a secure site (and please forgive me if I do not get the terminology correct - this is my first real website). The question is - can I set the login and password boxes on this page to access and populate the login and password boxes on the secure site. In other words, I'd like the client to be able to enter their ...

But enough about me!! Is there a consensus of opinion on the best secure method to access data from a remote database? Taking the School/Student/Contact data model as an example, you can create a ...
