Now i want to know what is the ip-address of this computer in LAN. I mean how do i reach one of this computer within the LAN network from the outside world ? Suppose i install a remote desktop sharing tool like TIGHT VNC in a computer in LAN then what would be the ipaddress of that single computer and how do i find out if i ...

Am I missing some keyword? I am an old internet server admin. I have my own internet server for friends and family. I am just beginning to get off my chair more with this mobility stuff. But I might be overthinking the project I am trying to do now. I can find various apps for phone talking to internet IP (ssh, telnet, ftp, email) or for phone to phone (call, SMS). But so far I dont seem to find a fast direct lan IP to lan IP. What options are there for fast short-message traffic going phone to phone over ...

Hello Community, according to many sources ARM uncovered an fully running Android-Device minutes ago on the currently ongoing Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The device is said to have just a 200MHz processor, but is running at amazing speed. It is capable of sending EMails (using Googles GMail), browsing the Web, play Audio & Video and of course making and receiving phone calls. It looks pretty similar to the devices Google presented in the very first Android description-video. There even is a video ...

Hi, I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me here. Recently, i noticed that the network connection on my computer desktop goes off and back on again in a blink of the eye (very quick). This happens very very rarely. I would say "every now and then". Unfortunately, this computer(or called mail-server) is used to host emails. This brought to my attention when i was trying to send email to someone using outlook 2003 and it immediately bounced back saying "we do not relay user1@mydns.com.au". As soon ...

I really need some help with my TCP/IP. In other words... My LAN!!! I'm at a friends house, trying to connect to his router. I've tried numerous cables, and have switched my domain on and off of his. I've tried messing around with all of my settings for my on-board LAN (3com) and still nothing has worked. And this all started happening after I took down AOL. I've diabled the "WAN miniport (ATW)" drivers or something like that... But still, it doesn't work. Any ideas/suggestions/answers??? what router is ...

Hey, I've just formatted my hd, and I'm back to the newest version of Windows XP. I'm currently connected through my WLAN, since I can't seem to be able to establish my LAN connection. My PC is connected through a LAN cable to the Router, which is connected to the modem in turn. Now Windows Help says that all LAN connections are established automatically. Furthermore, when I try to create a new connection with the wizard, and I choose permanent broadband connection, it says the connection is already active ...

Hey I've recently been working on something for which i had to build a LAN Scanner. Basically I pull out my own IP address using the WIFI manager. Decode that address to a string 192.168.0.2 (or something like this). Now all i wanna do is run from 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.0.255. Looked simple so I ran a loop. But somehow the loop doesn't seem to run beyond 4. Here's the code Code: Select all public class LANScanner{ private final int MAX = 256; public ArrayList<String> getPossibleServers(int port,String ...
